The emergence of drone, asymmetric air, counter-measure/denial and deception methods and technologies, and cyber realities will continue to present challenges to US national security. The Institute’s Center for Air & Space Analysis examines these challenges through the academic study, research, and analysis of future unmanned aerial vehicle technologies and the potential strategy behind their use.
The Center also seeks to advance the study of ‘over-the-horizon’ research into the proliferation of asymmetric drone counter-measure technologies in addition to the study of denial and deception practices which adversaries may use to counter and thwart air and space reconnaissance systems and the cyber infrastructure which supports them.
